Anandji Virji Shah – Musical Legend Whose Magic Worked Across Generations

The musical team of Kalyan Ji Anand Ji started in 1959 and continued to entertain the listeners till 2000 when Kalyan Ji passed away. In these fourty years, they witnessed generational changes happening in music industry but they continued to reinvent themselves to keep themselves relevant.

Anandji Virji Shah was the younger sibling of Kalyan Ji Anand Ji duo. He was born on 2nd Mar, 1933 and he is still active in music shows. He wanted to become an actor but realized that it will be difficult for him to become an actor due to his height. He went on to compose for 250 films, 17 of which were golden jubilees and 39 silver.
