Carnatic Music Legend Balamuralikrishna Passes Away

He was born on 6th Jul, 1930 in Andhra Pradesh. He inherited his music from his father who was a noted musician and mother who was an excellent veena player. He started giving concerts when he was just six years old and he grew in stature due to his concerts that combined sophisticated vocal skills and rhythmic patterns of classical music with the popular demand for entertainment value.

He passed away on 22nd Nov, 2016. He was 86 and is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters.
