It is brilliantly sung by Sonu Nigam, probably one of the toughest he would have sung in his career.

The sibilance on certain key words by Sonu, the orchestration from intimacy slowly building towards explosive, it’s all perfect in every which way. The stunning Santoor piece before the verse ,and the way Sonu goes with it , putting stress on Vowels make it even more effective, it’s like Sonu was born to sing this song .

Sonu bagged all the possible awards for this number, and deservingly so . He’s put his mind, body, heart and soul in it, it’s so laden with feel, expression & emotion .The sibilance in the song is so soothing .

This song is almost addictive, you want to listen to it again and again .

And Hritik has emoted so well, doing full justice to Sonu’s magical rendition. The tenderness, happiness, wonder, and ‘kashish’ on his face is in perfect sync with Sonu’s expressive rendition . Both of them compliment and complement each other perfectly.
