Actor Rajiv Kapoor no more

Youngest of the Kapoor brothers (Randhir, Rishi, Rajiv), Rajiv Kapoor passed away today following a massive heart attack. He was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was 58.
Starting his career as an assistant director in RK films, Prem Rog and Biwi O Biwi, Rajiv Kapoor made his screen debut with Ek Jaan Hain Hum (1983). He’s best known for Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1986) made under RK banner and directed by his father, legendary Raj Kapoor. His other films include Lava, Zalzala, Zabardast, Aasman, Lover Boy etc. He was also the producer of Henna (1991) and Aa Ab Laut Chalein (1999). He directed Prem Granth (1996), which didn’t do well at the box office. Our tribute to the departed soul by remembering some of his songs.
