Unconventional. That’s the word that comes to my mind when I think about Sushmita Sen. Be it her personal life or on professional front, Sush (as she’s fondly known as) has been anything but conventional. Her life till now has truly been an open book and she has proudly shared and stood by all her decisions. Crowned Miss Universe in the year 19 Sushmita entered Bollywood with the movie Dastak. She knew nothing about acting, had no formal training and had no connections. All she had was her will and confidence. Whichever role she did, she put more than 100% in it. She groomed herself to become an actor and not just remain a heroine and film after film her performances got better and interesting.
She is one of those actors who have done well on different entertainment platforms. Her stunning personality and immense screen presence makes her stand out from the crowd and that’s applicable in her real life as well. That’s one of the reasons why she has featured in so many special appearances, mostly in the form of a dance song. But never ever was any of these were sleazy or had double meaning words.
