Cross Dressing In Bollywood – When Men Dressed Like Women – Part 1
Cross dressing finds its mention way back in history. There are many instances in Greek and Hindu mythology where people dressed like the opposite sex. They did it for fun, sometimes for entertainment or even as a punishment. If a concept is so deep rooted in our systems then how can it be spared from the imagination of our Bollywood directors!
In this article, we will see some old songs in which the male actors are dressed as women.
1. Aake seedhi lagi dil pe – Half Ticket (1962)
This hilarious song features Kishore Kumar dressed as a gypsy woman trying to escape from the eyes of Pran. It is composed by Salil Chowdhary and sung by Kishore Kumar. Interestingly, he has sung both male and female parts.

Ms Aditi , it’s always so bad to see men enacting as women. It’s a way of disgracing the women. Never was a occasion it looked good.

Sir, please take it as an entertainment. Women are above these trivial things to be disgraced by it. Thank you!!
