In the recent time he is a musical sensation and tunes music heavy with instrumentation. Known for creating different genres of music, Amit Trivedi is one of those music directors who with his every attempt have given the listeners something new and fresh to hear.

Trivedi’s every composition leaves the listeners awestruck and out best his earlier creations. Trivedi’s flair for music started from a very early age and soon started composing music for theatres, background scores for television and dandiya shows. His Bollywood debut happened with the movie Aamir. Nevertheless his breakthrough happened with Anurag Khasyap’s Dev. D. in which he composed eighteen songs of completely different genres. The movie not only won him the Filmfare award for best background score but he received the National Film Award for the best music direction.

There was no looking back for the director from then on, who in time to come gave soulful music to the industry.  Udaan, Aisha, Ishaqzaade, English Vinglish, Kai Po Che!, Queen and recently Shaandaar, are only some notable hits in the long list of marvelous music composed by the director. Trivedi is a music geek and has attained a lot of attention as a singer with distinct voice of his. As a music director, Amitabh Bhattacharya counts down as a lyricist whom Trivedi is often seen to work with. Trivedi’s every composition has a new aspect to reveal and that is what has made him favorite among the music lovers. His creations amidst the loud music in the industry serves as refreshing and evergreen numbers.
