In the Voice of Actors – Part 2

In the previous article we saw a collection of songs where actors became singers. Let us take this theme ahead and add some more songs to the same.

1. Pani Da Rang – Vicky Donor (2012)

Pani Da Rang Lyrics from Vicky Donor: This song is composed and sung by Ayushmann Khurrana himself which he composed with his friend Rochak Kohli in his college days. The video features Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam.

2. Aye Shivani – Khoobsurat (1999)

Aye Shivani is a hindi song from the 1999 movie Khoobsurat. The song is sung by Sanjay Dutt and Shrraddha Pandit. The song is composed by Jatin-Lalit and written by Sanjay Swami. The video features Sanjay Dutt and Urmila Matondkar.

3. Senorita – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

This is a song in Zoya Akhtar directed movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. According to movie the characters Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), Imraan (Farhan Akhtar) and Kabir (Abhay Deol) are in Spain. The word Senorita is a famous spanish word which means “Miss”. The song is sung by the on screen artists Farhan, Hrithik and Abhay Deol. The song is written by Javed Akhtar
and music directed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

4. Sab Tera – Baaghi (2016)
Sab Tera is a song from 2016 movie Baaghi starring Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff, sung by Armaan Malik, and the actress Shraddha Kapoor herself. The song is composed by Amaal Mallik and written by Sanjeev Chaturvedi.

5. Sooha Saha – Highway (2014)

Alia Bhatt surprised everyone with her vocals in this track from Highway. A lullaby sung by Zeb & Alia Bhatt which is composed by A.R Rahman while Lyrics of Sooha Saha are written by Irshad Kamil.

6. Right Here Right Now – Bluffmaster (2005)

Right Here Right Now is a hindi song from the 2005 movie Bluffmaster!. The song is sung by Abhishek Bachchan and Sunidhi Chauhan. The song is written and composed by Vishal Shekhar and features Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.

7.Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin – Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017)

This is a song from the movie Meri Pyaari Bindu. Composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Kausar Munir, the song is performed by the leading actress of the film Parineeti Chopra in her debut playback singing. The film version, a duet, is performed by Parineeti Chopra and Sonu Nigam.

8. Rajj Rajj Ke – Akira (2016)

The song is sung by the lead actress Sonakshi Sinha along with Nahid Afrin, and Vishal Dadlani. It is composed by Vishal-Shekhar with lyrics written by Kumaar.

9. Sawan Beet Gayo Mayi Ri – Duniya Ek Sarai (1946)

The classical hit song from the 1948 movie Duniya Ek Sarai was sung by the legendary actress Meena Kumari, popularly known as The Tragedy Queen. The music is directed by Hansraj Behl and written by Kidar Sharma.
