Meethi Meethi Chashni – The Sugary Sweet Sentiment of Love – Bharat

A sweet, soulful song from the movie Bharat (to be released on June 5, 2019) is making waves these days and that is Meethi Meethi Chashni. It has a huge star cast in the form of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Disha Patni among others. A period drama, this film is eagerly awaited by many especially the fans of Salman Khan.

The song is composed by the music director duo Vishal-Shekhar and the lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. Sung by Abhijeet Srivastava, the song is soft on the ears and easy to hum too. It has the potential to become a favourite among the karaoke singers as well.
It is featured on Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, a ‘jodi’ which will be remembered for years to come. The chemistry of both the stars is at its peak and elevates the romantic quotient of the song to many levels. The way the song is shot goes well with the feel of the entire song. Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra was to play the character (now played by Kaif) but pulled out of the movie just few days before the shooting due to her engagement to beau Nick Jonas.
