Mohammed Aslam – Auto Driver from Pakistan Who Has Amazing Music Talent

Talent knows no boundaries and same is true for Mohammed Aslam. He was a singer but life is not easy as a singer and he started driving auto rikshaw to make ends meet. His father was in police and did not encourage him to pursue music. He is from Hyderabad ( Pakistan ) but moved to Karachi to pursue music.

His talent has been appreciated by the legend Lata Mangeshkar also. In a post on her Facebook page she says.

Namaskar. Abhi abhi mujhe kisine ye video bheja.Ye koi rickshaw chalewala hai aise video ke saath likha hua tha. Sunke main hairan hogayi. Mehsoos hua ki Ishwar kahan kahan apna chamatkar dikhata hai. Aap bhi suniye, main dil se chahti hun ki ye kalakar rickshaw na chalaaye ,mike ke saamne khada ho.

Aslam has expressed gratitude to the legend that she noticed his singing.

When I heard about it, it brought tears to my eyes. I can’t thank her enough. She is such a legendary artist, a devi in the realm of singing, and I’m just an amateur. I’m not even a speck of dust in front of her. And to know that she liked my singing…
