Wajid Ali – Music composer of Sajid-Wajid duo dies aged 42

Wajid Ali, a famous and successful music composer and playback singer in Indian cinema passed away on Monday in Mumbai. The young composer died due to cardiac arrest and was tested positive for Coronavirus. He also had severe complications from a kidney infection. Being hospitalised from past few days Wajid lost his battle eventually this morning. Wajid Ali was only 42 years old.

It’s not only shocking for the film industry but also for all the fans who have enjoyed foot tapping and soulful numbers by the director duo Sajid -Wajid.

Wajid Ali began his journey in Bollywood along with brother Sajid Ali. The duo is known for their work predominantly in Salman Khan movies. In their successful career as a music director duo they have delivered many hit soundtracks such as “Wanted”, “Dabangg” , “Ek Tha Tiger”.”Rowdy Rathore” and “Housefull 2”. Wajid Ali was also a Playback singer and has sung many hit songs including Tujhe Aksa Beach Ghuma Doon, Hud Hud Dabangg, Mashallah. They had also composed background score for many movies.
