Supriya and Sachin Pilgaonkar – The Adorable Couple of Marathi Films

There are few actors who create a niche for themselves in the industry, who are remembered for their performances and serve as a benchmark for others who follow and then there are star couples (reel or real) who create a place in the hearts of the audience and remain there forever. One such couple from our Marathi film industry is Supriya and Sachin Pilgaonkar (I can imagine many people nodding their heads in accordance). This couple has a chemistry which was evident from their very first film together and has lasted till date; on an off screen both. They have given others some major couple goals (I hope I have got the lingo correct; I’m old generation, you see ;)).

Apart from looking great together, their performances have been unmatchable; especially when they are together. This made this ‘jodi’ a favourite among the people. They both met each other on the sets of the movie ‘Navri Mile Navryala’ (meaning the groom gets his bride) and fell in love with each other. Interestingly, both celebrate their birthdays on 17th August; serendipity much?

This amazingly funny song is sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Suhasini Maniratnam and Uttara Kelkar while it is composed by Arun Paudwal and Amar Mohile. Sachin looks gorgeous in a lady’s attire and yet looks great along with his wife Supriya.
