By  |

We know Pyarelal Ji as part of the famous music director duo of Laxmikant-Pyarelal, but he has also created music outside the film industry which has reached people across the world. He has composed two symphonies titled Om Shivam, one of them in A Minor and another one in D Minor. He has collaborated here with famous MDR SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA under the direction of Kristjan Järvi.

Pyarelal Ji was born on 3rd Sep, 1940 and renowned trumpeter Pandit Ramprasad Sharma was his father. That is where he learnt his first lessons in music. Violin was his instrument of choice and he used to practice it for hours as a kid to gain mastery over it. He started playing instruments in various studios to make a living as financial situation of his family was not very good.

The first movie which got released for Laxikant-Pyarelal duo was Parasmani in 1963. The music of this movie became very popular and there was no looking back for this superhit duo.

And now listen to the symphonies and don’t forget to watch the endless applause he gets at the end.
