This person shares his birthday with Kishore Kumar and is known for his versatile personality in the current scenario as his contribution as a director, composer, writer and singer is a matter of sheer appreciation. Yes it is the director who represents the Shakespearean tale on the silver screen, Vishal Bharadwaj.

Bharadwaj was born on 4th August, 1965. He embarked his journey in the film industry as a composer little knowing that one day he will also be introduced as one of the finest directors in the Bollywood. As a composer he made his debut with Wahem (1987), and the movie Makdee (2002) marks his directorial debut. From that era onwards, Bhardwaj has given some crucial movies along with his unparalleled compositions which have always called for a critical attention. Maqbool, Omkara, 7 Khoon Maaf, and his latest venture was the blockbuster Haider in the year 2014, are only some of his directorial hits.

A recipient of National Award for six times, Bhardwaj has marked the industry with different shades of his personality. His wife Rekha Bhradwaj is a renowned singer in Bollywood. On the occasion of his birthday we wish him a good health and all the best for him ventures in the upcoming years.
